Inder Matharu

Partner, BMP

Inder Matharu is a partner and Vice-President of Bayfield Mortgage Professionals (BMP.) During his 12-year tenure with the firm, he has risen from working as a sub-mortgage professional to the Broker Division Manager. Now, BMP is proud and pleased to have Inder in the VP role.

Inder has spent his entire career in the lending industry, taking on successively more responsible positions. While studying for his degree at the University of Manitoba, he worked part-time as a teller at the TD Bank in Winnipeg. After graduation, he moved to Vancouver, where he took a position as the Regional Coordinator for CIBC-President’s Choice Financial. In this position, he took a leadership role in introducing internet and telephone banking into the retail grocery store industry. Afterwards, he took a promotion to Branch Manager with Household Finance (HSBC Financial). He took another promotion in 2006 to join Bayfield Mortgage Professionals.

Gord Wintrup

Partner, BMP

Gord Wintrup is a partner and President of Bayfield Mortgage Professionals, a mortgage brokerage firm with more than 75 mortgage agents in BC, Alberta, and Manitoba. He manages the mortgage companies in those provinces and is the Director and Portfolio Manager in all of them.

Gordon has dedicated his career to the finance industry in Canada. He began his career as the Credit Manager with the Bank of Montreal in the 1960s. After a few years, he was promoted to Manager of Laurentide Finance (now Laurentian Bank).

Gord became a licensed mortgage broker in British Columbia in 1971. In 1982, he launched Bayfield Investment Services Ltd., — now known as Bayfield Mortgage Professionals Ltd. In 1984, he founded one of the first MICs on the Lower Mainland: Baytree Capital Corp. He incorporated Upton Capital in 1990 and Versatile Mortgage in 1996.
